Our Team

Vince Jenkins is a co-founder of 3A Partners and currently serves as Co-President. He brings over 20 years of experience structuring institutional investment solutions for banks and insurance companies, with a particular focus on COLI and BOLI programs.

Vince has deep expertise in designing and implementing investment structures within corporate and institutional life insurance, particularly related to private asset strategies. Prior to co-founding 3A Partners, he held leadership roles at Vanbridge LLC and Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company.

Jamie Lorentz co-founded 3A Partners and serves as Co-President, as well as Vice President of NFP. In these roles, he leads the firm’s operations and business development strategy and provides oversight across both investment and operational teams. Jamie focuses on driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and aligning investment execution with client objectives.

Jamie holds an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Findlay. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, reflecting rigorous training in investment analysis and a commitment to high professional and ethical standards.

Prior to joining 3A Partners in 2023, Charlie Groux had over 16 years of experience in commercial banking, with deep expertise in SBIC fund investment strategy. He previously led SBIC investment initiatives for Huntington National Bank, where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring Huntington’s SBIC investment portfolio. He maintains strong relationships with SBIC managers and industry leadership, including the SBIA. 

Charlie graduated from Ohio University.

Doug Fox brings significant experience across accounting, operations, and fund administration. Prior to joining 3A Partners in 2023, Doug developed these skills throughout 8 years at Stonehenge Capital and 5 years in the external audit practice at Deloitte. His responsibilities have included administering multiple SBIC funds, overseeing investor reporting, capital account statement preparation, portfolio company valuations, and treasury functions. He also managed fund and management company cash flow activity and led investment performance tracking efforts.

Doug graduated from Miami University and obtained his CPA designation in 2010, which he still actively holds.

Erika Oku developed her expertise in commercial banking and credit underwriting during her 3 years working directly within the banking industry. Prior to joining 3A Partners in 2024, her prior experience included Park National Bank and Peoples Bank. In her role at 3A, she focuses on identifying, underwriting, and managing SBIC fund investment opportunities, supporting disciplined investment analysis and portfolio oversight. 

Erika graduated from Kenyon College.

Prior to joining 3A Partners in 2025, Kyle Kuba brings 6 years of experience in the retirement and process management space. Previously with Nationwide Financial, he focused on implementing organizational change initiatives. At 3A Partners, he supports the team through back-office coordination and contributes to sales and operational execution. 

Kyle graduated from Ohio University.
